Sigmonster vs 300 2.8L IS

Just finished testing my Sigmonster against a friend's new 300 2.8L IS. Here are the results at DP Review.

I did a comparison once between the Tamron AF28-300MM F/3.5-6.3 XR Di and the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM and the Tamron was sharper than the Canon at similar settings. Call me a fool but I ended up selling off the Tamron to purchase the Canon :confused:
