Hi does anybody have any comments on this lens for birding, especially on the AF performance?

There's one selling at Clubsnap right now.

Thanks
Wrexel

WrexelDo check if this lens is affected by this thing called "lens grease condensation". I was introduced to this term by fellow member Sulhan in one of the threads I started regarding my Tokina 400mm f5.6.

It's a recurring problem...and you have to spend about $$$ each time just to have it cleaned out ... :wahpiang:

But for the record, I did check my Sigma 18-50 recently and found that it had been hit as well :(
