hello all !!!

just wondering what you guys use to clean your camera and lens after a day out in the bush shooting birds.

do u use a dry cloth with some special cleaning solution or some other methods ???

For me, I use a lint free cloth for both the body and lens. A small soft brush is also useful for small areas where the cloth cannot reach.

As for the glass, I normally use blower and lens tissue (if there's any finger prints on it).

I also have another piece of cloth where I usually wet it and use it to wipe my tripod legs :)

thanks ccplim, but what if your camera and lens body is "dirty".

mine has some white patches on it, came from branch support and it wouldn't go off with just a dry cloth.

don't dare to use wet cloth......... :dunno:

You can buy a bottle of lenses cleaning lotion (for: photo camera, comcorder or video camera) from Challenger. Quite good....I bought it below $10 (can't remember the exact price).

Don't use a cloth that is totally wet. You can just dip the cloth in a little bit of water and try to clean it. The water will dry up pretty fast.
