Took my "new" lens for a walk in a park...i am looking for european robin.
However, could only found a couple of young robin...but they are too quick for MF (need practising). I end up... taking a couple of test shot. What do you think of this lens?

Hi Ender,

Your set up seem in working order; the lens is a sharp one, with fairly good reach and fast enough for most bird/animal photography purposes. If you noticed, the DOF is very shallow, as would be expected with the telephotos. Hence focusing on a dynamic subject is gonna be very critical to get a useful picture. As u mentioned, only thru practice then u can get it right.... I am still practicing very hard everytime :D
Thanks for sharing

Hmm...perhaps focusing on a more specific object may be better to showcase the capability of the lens?
