Got this pic off another photography forum. Anyone knows what is the gimbal head the 500mm f4 is mounted on? :dunno:

That is the gimbal head from Jobu design (also know as the black widow). If I am not mistaken, it is slightly heavier than the wimberley.

You can check it out at their website here (http://www.jobu-design.com/index.htm) .Thanks bro! :) Looks quite good, and better than Sidekick, esp. the mounting is straight down like the full Wimberley, so the centre of the lens is directly over the tripod mount. But pretty pricy leh...for that price can get a full Wimberley liao. Wonder if its lighter than full Wimberley?

The horizontal mounting can be an optional item.
The weight including the horizontal mount is 3.6lbs (US$509) and the full wimberley is 4.1lbs (US$565). I think they might have made some modification as it used to be slightly heavier than the full wimberley.
So far, I only came across one guy in SG using this (without the horizontal mount).
