Printer for Photo Printing

Hi bros & sisters,

Can anyone recommend me a good mid-range printer of any brands for printing photographs (4R to super 8R). I tried printing photos with my sub hundred bucks color printer recently but the color tone especially the background of the pic look aweful! :(

im using canon i905.. got it last time at best denki for $149 promo price few mths back.. which was quite a good deal considering it has small LCD for direct printing.

i've printed like 30 A4 size on it so far.. no complain.

hey bros, my school having sale for cannon Prixma 3000 photo printer, is it a relatively ok photo printer??

student price i can get at 149 plus goodies..... some good stuff as a student
